Brian Hale DMD
Growing up in the desert heat of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dr. Hale was looking for a change of climate and scenery. It’s not hard to understand why he and his wife, Alisha, fell in love with Oregon’s forests and diverse landscapes. Relocating here has been a refreshing experience of which he says, “I am very excited to meet and provide oral health care to the wonderful people in the Troutdale area!"
Dr. Hale graduated from UNLV School of Dental Medicine after earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brigham Young University. During dental school, he served as Class Vice President and received the Delta Dental Student Leadership Award.
Dr. Hale went on to complete a General Practice Residency at the Baltimore, Maryland Veteran Affairs Medical Center. Through this additional training, Dr. Hale devoted much of his time to root canals, tooth extractions, dental implants, fillings, crowns, and veneers. He says “The only thing I love more than teeth, and believe me, I LOVE teeth, is restoring or enhancing a smile that has been lost. I live to make you smile!”
In their free time, Dr. Hale and his wife, Alisha, love to camp and explore wherever they find themselves.
Clark Brinton DMD
Dr. Brinton graduated OHSU School of Dentistry in 2013 as the class valedictorian. During his third and fourth years, he was selected as one of two students to train under Drs. Stanley Malamed and Ken Reed in intravenous sedation as a member of their mini-residency program.
Dr. Brinton practiced general dentistry in New Mexico from 2013 to 2017, devoting much of his practice to IV sedation and dental surgery, including root canal therapy, dental extractions, removal of impacted wisdom teeth, and dental implant surgery. Dr. Brinton credits his high level of experience and education in a short time to his commitment to continued professional education and training.
Dr. Brinton completed didactic and live patient surgical implant training with OCO Biomedical in 2013 and has been placing and restoring dental implants since. He stays current with implantology by attending additional courses and symposiums, having recently returned from the world-renowned Pikos Symposium in November of 2017. Dr. Brinton is also a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and a provider of cosmetic and therapeutic Botox for TMJ and head and neck pain.
Dr. Brinton and his wife, Kjerstin, have two young daughters, Annika and Hanna. In their free time, they love to enjoy the outdoors, whether by foot, bike, or skis.
Natalina joins the Troutdale Dental team all the way from a small town in northwest Pennsylvania where much of her family still resides. Before joining our team in August of 2019, she was a dental assistant with ambitions of going back to school for dental hygiene in Williamsport, PA. She did so and graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2014 then followed that up with a trip to Nicaragua, providing dental care to children with fellow Penn College students. She has also been published in RDH magazine which is an honor she holds dear. Despite all of her achievements, her number one goal is still to help people with their dental and overall health.
Growing up in Greenville, PA came with a very family-centric upbringing where her and her younger brother would enjoy plenty of laughs and back yard games with their cousins. Some of their favorite memories are still on the kickball field, basketball courts and tucked neatly into board games at their grandparents house. Away from the office Natalina can be found scouring the city for the best bites in town with her friends and exploring all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Marcela joined Troutdale Dental in the summer of 2019 and has been a welcomed addition to our team ever since. Her education landed her as a dental assistant after exploring general studies and realizing she has a passion for helping people and transforming lives. She grew up in Hermiston, OR near the banks of the Columbia River in Eastern Oregon. Growing up in the “Watermelon Capital” of Oregon, she has many fond memories of growing up in a small town and all that comes with it.
Marcela fell in love with the dental field and couldn’t be happier about contributing to the kindness and compassion the team gives to it’s patients. When she’s not chairside with Dr. Hale and Brinton, she enjoys spending time with her husband, friends and her new puppy, Royce. Marcela is an avid football and hockey fan, cheering on her Steelers and Penguins with those Terrible Towels. She has also been known to throw down on new recipes in the kitchen. Ask her about her latest kitchen conquest next time you’re in for a checkup!
